MULTI RIDER BIKE COLLAB

The good people of t-ninja crew from all the way in Russia recently invited The Killer Gerbil for an interesting online collaboration project called "Multi Rider Bike Collab".

Every now and then, a set of 4 artists will lend their characters to join in and ride on 4 seater tandem bicycle which will result in series of stickers which will be printed and available for download.

THE KILLER GERBIL X JUICE SG

The Killer Gerbil is invited by local entertainment and lifestyle magazine JUICE to create an artwork based on their magazine cover for an upcoming JUICE annual anniversary party which will be happening at Zouk sometime in November along with 9 other prominent figures in the local industry. Titled "Go JUICE Or Go Home", this artwork is graffiti inspired with a team of Gerbils repping JUICE on a heaven spot (hard-to-reach places such as rooftops and freeway signs, thus making them hard to remove) using cut-out graphics to achieve that 3 dimensional feel to this artwork. Thank you JUICE for the opportunity and to many many successful times ahead!
 

NUYOU 35TH

The Killer Gerbil was once again invited by Singapore's fashion & entertainment magazine Nuyou on their 35th anniversary issue to create 2 spreads for Mercedes-Benz latest and fashion label Tod's.

HANDMADE ART

Local hero and mr nice guy K.I.L.A.S. (Keep It Like A Secret) just had his solo show last week called "Handmade" over at dbl O Artspace featuring collab illustrations with local talents namely 1.2Delta, Antz, Clog02, Scope, Sheryo, Speak Cryptic, Zero and yours truly.

There were live screen-printing on tshirts on the opening night by the man himself with original artworks, screen-print posters and tshirts available on sale.

Artworks, prints and tshirts are also available now through K.I.L.A.S. website and shits are mad limited as usual. Tell him The Killer Gerbil sent you.

GET YO FIXED ON RECAP

GET YO FIXED ON!

Local bike boutique and lifestyle store Life Cycle will be holding "Get Yo Fixed On!" event to spread some love on local fixed gear riding with many cool happenings. Expect some photography exhibition by my man Yasin Rahim, product demos by Airwalk SG, video screenings and more all under one roof.

The good people from PEONFX will also be releasing their latest collection including a collab tshirt with yours truly which will be available on sale in store on the night itself so come down and check it all out. Cyclists or not, all are welcome!

CARBON 4 PRESENTS CARBONATED

The Killer Gerbil was approached late last year by the good people from homegrown label Carbon4 to be part of their Carbonated series which is a collaborative effort with local artists and establishments with yours truly as the project's first installment.

The Killer Gerbil Carbonated "C4ARMY" tshirts came in 3 different colours (black and white available for public sales with gray for family and friends only) with front and back graphics complete with flocking and high quality metallic print. Limited to 50 pieces per colourway, each tshirt are numbered so you know we keep it real with them digits with no future reprints.

TRIPLE TROUBLE

Local sneaker fiends Sole Obsession whom I've worked closely with from years back doing tshirt collabs and group shows, recently just produced yet another installment this time involving Sup Clothing and yours truly on a tshirt with each individual graphics representing the different camps all united in 1 mashed up design.

Inspired by the college style design, the "Triple Trouble" collab's all about schooling the masses on the existence of the local street culture coming together based on brotherhood built along the years and that in union, there is strength to push the local scene on another level.

The "Triple Trouble" collab tshirt is now available at Sup Clothing store 34 Haji Lane in a limited quantity of 40 pieces.

MAGNETO

Following up from my previous project with New Balance Singapore to create a set of illustrations of their latest performance shoes, this time the artwork will come in the form of fridge magnets which will be available for free with every purchase of the 760 model performance shoes in all New Balance stores real soon.

SUP 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Another year has passsed and this year Singapore's very own Sup Clothing has reached their second year in existence as one of the local finest producing mad stuffs time after time.

For this year Sup Clothing yet again collaborated with The Killer Gerbil to produce three anniversary tshirts which illustrations are hand drawn by yours truly.

The "2nd Year Annivesary Crest" tshirt takes inspiration from soccer jerseys with two green stars symbolizing two years and the handshake signifying strength regardless of race.



The "Facade" tshirt pays homage to the store, pretty much summarizing what the store means to many as a venue to drink at, hang out, make friends, ride, barbeques and having good times.



The "Ping Pong" tshirt is inspired by the good people of Sup Clothing love for table tennis which they fight it out daily after a hard day's work for fitness recreation.



Congratulations to Sup Clothing on their second year anniversary and keep on doing justice to the streets like how it supposed to.
